Qigong healing methods are simple exercises involving the breath, the mind and easy movements which help to promote the easy, unobstructed circulation of energy and blood throughout the body. These 3 elements of movement, mind and breath have the effect of "massaging" and stimulating the Acupuncture points of your body, almost like you are giving yourself an Acupuncture treatment (though obviously not as intensely as using Acupuncture needles).

Qigong methods create the conditions which allow the free flow of Qi (energy) and blood into and through your vital organs and muscles so that they can function at their optimum. The result of regular Qigong practice is not only physical. It helps to balance your health on an emotional and mental level too. You can think of it like a kind of moving meditation.

8 Pieces of Brocade as a Gift

The Eight Pieces of Brocade (Ba Duan Jin) is a beginner friendly health strenghening Qigong sequence of ancient movements combined with breathing and awareness for those of you who prefer a shorter course to my 50 week full Space to Relax membership programme.

These videos are lessons 11-19 taken from the full programme so forgive me as you will hear me introduce them as lessons 11-19. 😊

The Eight Pieces of Brocade course comprises nine engaging step-by-step videos and audio sessions that will guide the student step by step eight Qigong movements, with the final lesson illustrating how to effortlessly connect all eight movements into a cohesive 10-15 minute routine.

Each week for nine weeks, a new lesson will be delivered to the membership area and the user will be notified by email as each new weekly lesson becomes available. This interval of 7 days will provide ample time to absorb and practice each new lesson before advancing to the next, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience.
